Ticket To Ride… Or Appear
OK, this is probably the only place I can vent about how rude the cops can be. First off, originally, I was to blame. I had a bad day, then I got drunk. Then I got in a fight with my boyfriend. The police were contacted. They came and were increasingly belittling to me. Eventually, I said something that they didn’t like, then they decided they needed to take me to the hospital because I was “out of control.” They wrestled against me and and cuffed me.
This morning I was awakened by a cop banging on my door with a warrant for a failure to appear.
Apparently that night when I was drunk and in the hospital they issued me an appearance ticket. I never recieved a copy of the ticket.
How rude………..
Behave for cops and they go away.
Lip off to cops, and you get taught that lippiness has its time and place.
Drunk in a domestic isn’t one of them.
Learn your lesson.

Any chance when you were at the hospital in “less than stellar” condition…you misplaced the appearance ticket?? Seriously, PO a cop and it isn’t hard for them to forget the little details…where they put the cuff keys, potty breaks…
