Killer Phone

I love my iPhone. 

As much as I didn’t want the dang thing (it was a gift), I’ve since developed something of an attachment to it. An attachment of the “you’ll have to pry it from my cold, dead hands” variety. I’ve said that, jokingly, many times over the past few years… yet today, it’s a little less funny than it used to be.

On Wednesday, after Frankie Hernandez  accidentally dropped girlfriend Jasmine Diaz’ iPhone and shattered the glass face, she allegedly got behind the wheel of an SVU and purposefully ran him down.

Witnesses say the pair had been arguing, and the Huffington Post reports Police Commissioner Ray Kelly as having said that Diaz had been drinking.

And yet, one can’t help asking… who does that? Who becomes so enraged over the breaking of an easily-repaired item that they get in a vehicle and not only run the person down but, as is being alleged, slam into them repeatedly?
