Travelers: please please please, do not put your feet up anywhere outside your house.
In most parts of the worlds putting feet up is rude. No feet on tables and chairs and anywhere where people puts their hands and/or food.
Even if you are used to walk barefoot at home, I also urge you to wear shoes in public places.
Appropriate feet behavior is a sign of respect for others!
